Weekend wyciąga na wierzch skutki wszystkich polskich błędów i zaniechań w kwestii uchodźców z Ukrainy. Brak systemu pomocy, na którego stworzenie mieliśmy prawie dwa lata. Tymczasem nie tylko nie powstał żaden, ale jest coraz gorzej. W dodatku opinia publiczna nie tylko nie wie, że uchodźcy nadal napływają, ale żyje w przekonaniu, że w Polsce mają jakieś szczególne przywileje. W rzeczywistości traktujemy ich gorzej niż inne kraje europejskie.

In fact, we treat them worse than other European countries.

W ciągu trzech godzin dzięki Asymetryści cała rodzina miała dach nad głową i wyżywienie. Najgorsze, że to nie tylko niewykonalne dla państwa, samorządów czy wielkich korporacji “humanitarnych”, ale to, że w ogóle się tym nie zajmują i zajmować nie chcą. Dziś z kolei następni uchodźcy znowu ponoszą konsekwencje tego, że w systemie nie ma ŻADNEJ pomocy i ŻADNYCH miejsc dla osób w podeszłym wieku, z niepełnosprawnościami i chorych w Warszawie (największym hubie przesiadkowym dla uchodźców ukraińskich w Europie), a to, co my jesteśmy w stanie załatwić za państwo, nie wystarcza. 70-letnia córka, poruszająca się tylko przy pomocy balkonika wraz ponad 90-letnią, leżącą stale matką trafiły z braku bezpłatnych miejsc w Warszawie do płatnego hostelu pod Warszawą (w weekend nie wyrobi się numeru PESEL, który pozwala zakwaterować ludzi za darmo, ale nie sposób planować ewakuacji ludzi spod okupacji tak, żeby nie trafić czasem właśnie w weekendy). W poniedziałek miały obie wylecieć do Izraela (!), gdzie mają rodzinę, trzeba było więc dodatkowo opłacić opiekę nad obiema paniami (system nie przewiduje opieki wcale). Ale starsza z pań poczuła się bardzo źle i musiała trafić do szpitala (transport! nie ma, tylko my to robimy w takich wypadkach bezpłatnie), na szczęście w nim nie została, bo inaczej rachunek wynosiłby kilka tysięcy złotych. A wystarczyłoby na Wschodniej umożliwić robienie uchodźcom numeru PESEL ze statusem ukr. Władze Warszawy są od ponad roku na ten postulat głuche.

A 70-year-old daughter, moving only with the help of a balcony, along with her 90-plus-year-old mother, who is permanently lying down, ended up, for lack of free places in Warsaw, in a paid hostel near Warsaw (on the weekend you can’t make out the PESEL number, which allows you to accommodate people for free, but it’s impossible to plan the evacuation of people from under occupation so as not to end up sometimes just on weekends). On Monday they were both scheduled to fly to Israel (!), where they have family, so it was necessary to pay extra for care for both ladies (the system does not provide for care at all). But the older of the ladies felt very bad and had to go to the hospital (transport! there is none, only we do it free of charge in such cases), fortunately she did not stay there, otherwise the bill would have been several thousand zlotys. And it would have been enough for Eastern to allow refugees to make PESEL number with the UKR status. The Warsaw authorities have been deaf to this demand for more than a year now.
Poza tym: norma. Polska norma. Wozimy uratowanych spod bomb i rakiet oraz spod okupacji rosyjskiej na lotniska i dworce oraz do miejsc tymczasowego zakwaterowania. Szukamy dla nich jedzenia, miejsc do spania. Bez żadnej pomocy jakże proukraińskiej Polski i Europy, dla których zwycięstwo Ukrainy jest racją stanu i warunkiem sine qua non niepodległości.
